As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for innovative and cost-effective design solutions, specifically to the HyET Hydrogen Electrochemical Compressor and Purifier range. Thid will include improvements for manufacturability, performance, CAPEX and OPEX reduction and life-cycle requirements.

You will form part of a small and enthusiastic team of Mechanical Engineers under the leadership of the Lead Mechanical Engineer. You will contribute to mechanical designs, calculations and reports required to achieve our company goals. In this role, you will also focus on certification for our pressure equipment.

• Form part of a multi-disciplinary team, focused on delivering project-orientated results, including R&D and optimization functions;
• Be responsible to deliver accurate and efficient designs, reports, engineering calculations and other deliverables of a high quality;
• Create innovative and cost-effective concepts and designs utilizing CAD (Solidworks) according to HyET conventions and ISO standards;
• Report to the Lead Engineer on a regular basis regarding progress and development towards milestones;
• Manage personal tasks, progress, completion, risks and non-conformances;
• Create and maintain technical files of products, including drawing packages, BoM, and manuals;
• Compile and deliver accurate and quality reports;
• Providing technical support to stakeholders regarding pressure equipment certification requirements;
• Execute hands-on tasks from time to time.

Wat breng jij als Senior Mechanical Engineer

• HBO Mechanical Engineering Degree;
• 5 – 10 years relevant experience in the field of Mechanical Design Engineering, manufacturing and Development Engineering;
• Experience with the manufacturing industry and design for manufacturing would be beneficial;
• Previous experience in the hydrogen/renewable sector would be beneficial
• Experience in 3D/CAD systems (SolidWorks/Inventor or similar), modelling, construction principles and tolerance analyses.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• Good team and interpersonal skills;
• A self-driven and motivated attitude.
